Orthodontic treatment has come a long way in recent years. Those silver, metal braces are being replaced with one of the most modern methods for straightening teeth. Invisalign is quickly becoming the go-to option for kids as an alternative to traditional braces or as a later-in-life treatment for adults who still need to fix an orthodontic problem. And the experts at our office have extensive knowledge and experience with this high-tech form of treatment as thousands of patients have had their orthodontic problems successfully treated.
Why Use Braces?
Let’s face it; you do not want to leave any dental or orthodontic problems at the hands of someone who is not experienced. We are proud to call ourselves one of the top Invisalign providers in the world. In fact, we are on the top 1 percent of all Invisalign providers in the nation ranked by experience. Do not believe us? Just visit the official Invisalign website at www.invisalign.com and type your zip code to find the doctor and you will see for yourself who is number one. We treat both teenagers and adults with the understanding that many people find traditional braces cumbersome, uncomfortable and unsightly. This is one of the reasons we focus a lot on using Invisalign as our standard method of treatment. We have thousands of satisfied clients and there is a good chance that many are your neighbors. We could provide you with countless references of the satisfied patients when you ask. Every single one of our dentists are also orthodontic specialists who specialize in bite correction and teeth alignment—two of the biggest problems that Invisalign treats.
Aside from our expert care and vast experience, we treat each patient as an individual. There is no one-size-fits-all with us. Every case is dealt with individually. Your course of treatment is not going to be the same as every other patient we have. We take your orthodontic issues seriously and go about treating it in the most effective and efficient way possible.
Finally, we know that cost is important to you. This is why we accept all insurance carriers. We will even file claims with your insurance company to ensure that your Invisalign orthodontic treatment gets covered. This means less worry about how you are going to pay for the treatment and more focus on the treatment itself. And if for any reason, your insurer fails or denies coverage, we will gladly work with you in creating a monthly payment plan that is within your budget. We do not want anyone to not get the orthodontic treatment they need just because of budgetary constraints. So why choose anyone else? Come in for a complimentary consultation to find out more about the cost and insurance coverage.
What is the cost?
Invisalign treatment does not cost any more than traditional metal braces. While the price depends on the patient’s needs and course of treatment, you can expect to pay between $3500 and $5500. This price will include all appointments, refinements, upper and lower retainers as well and up to two years of post-treatment follow-ups to make sure that retainers are working fine. At our office, we are more than happy to give you a complimentary consultation. During this time, one of our highly experienced orthodontists will review your case, explain your treatment options and answer any questions you may have.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign differs from traditional braces because it is clear and less obvious looking in your mouth. These custom-made invisible aligners are made out of plastic and are simply placed over your teeth. In fact, a computer is used to generate a unique mold for your teeth and you can even see a three-dimensional view of how your teeth will move over the next few days once you begin treatment.
Invisalign is also comfortable to wear and smooth. Over time, wearing the liner will slowly and gently shift your teeth into their proper place. And as your teeth shift, you will be fitted for a new aligner. This is usually done every ten days to two weeks.
The best part about Invisalign is that you can remove it when you eat, drink, brush and floss. You cannot do this with traditional braces which sometimes creates problems, especially for younger kids, where food can build up and create dental issues down the road. Throughout the course of treatment, you will visit your orthodontist once every four to eight weeks to make sure that your progress is where it should be and that everything is okay with your aligners. The average patient will use anywhere between eighteen and thirty aligners during the course of treatment. Once you are done, you will be given a retainer to ensure that your teeth do not move back to where they were prior to treatment. Invisalign is perfect for treating not only crooked teeth, but also protruding teeth, overbites, underbites and serious malocclusions. Gapped teeth and overcrowding can also be treated with Invisalign.
